On the occasion that the Asia Safe Abortion Partnership (ASAP), a network for safe abortion collaboration in the Asia region, together with the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations of Thailand (IMFSA-Thailand), organized a workshop for medical students who are members of the federation on Saturday, November 26, 2016, they contacted the Path2Health Foundation to invite the Women’s Choice Support Network for Unplanned Pregnancy and the RSA Volunteer Network to join the meeting to lecture, discuss, and exchange policy, legal, operational, and service issues with the participants. The Path2Health Foundation accepted the invitation to join the meeting on behalf of the 1663 Unplanned Pregnancy Counseling Project and the Safe Service Referral, supported by the Health Promotion Fund (HPF).

The Path2Health Foundation and the RSA Volunteer Network, in collaboration with the Asia Safe Abortion Partnership (ASAP) and the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations of Thailand (IMFSA-Thailand), organized the Safe Abortion in Thailand workshop at Room 223-224, Medical Development Building, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. The meeting was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anan Jai Samran, Head of the Family Planning and Reproductive Health Unit, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University.
