The Department of Health supports policies to reduce unsafe abortions, such as supporting the inclusion of Medabon, a pregnancy termination drug, in the essential drug list, supporting the RSA (Referral System for Safe Abortion) volunteer network, and contributing to the enactment of the Prevention and Solution of the Adolescent Pregnancy Act of 2016. This is not only for the safety of pregnancy termination but also for the quality of life of women with unplanned pregnancies.
