A representative of the network supporting choices for unprepared pregnant women stated that even though the legal abortion law has been in place for 2 years, the public sector still cannot access it and faces obstacles in accessing safe abortion services. Therefore, it is necessary to push the Ministry of Public Health to promote and support access to safe pregnancy termination services.

The public sector network has written an open letter to Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Minister of Public Health, as the responsible agency, to announce the names of safe abortion service facilities, require public health facilities under the ministry to provide at least one safe abortion service per province, and educate personnel about safe abortion.
