8) There are two methods to terminate a pregnancy
1) Use a vacuum aspiration or MVA to extract from the uterine cavity, applicable up to 12-14 weeks of pregnancy.
2) Use medication to terminate the pregnancy, applicable at any stage of pregnancy by using two combined drugs (Mifepristone and Misoprostol). In Thailand, there are two registered brands. For pregnancies under 12 weeks, doctors will prescribe medication for home use, with follow-up during medication use, complete abortion, and post-medication care.
