28 May – National Health Constitution Day
This is a day that encourages all of us to reconsider taking care of our own health, not just in terms of food, exercise, or rest, but also sexual health and the rights we should know and actually use.
Start taking care of your health, start knowing your rights. Sexual health is a part of overall health. Basic rights that everyone should receive include:
- Access to free contraceptive services
- Consultation on sexual matters and pregnancy
- Receiving services safely without being judged
Knowing your rights = Knowing how to take better care of yourself. You can check your own gold card rights through the Pao Tang app, under the “Health Wallet” menu → “Good Health Rights for Disease Prevention”. You will see a list of applicable rights, such as monthly contraceptive pills, contraceptive injections, condoms, contraceptive implants, etc.
Good health starts with accurate information
If you are unsure about what services you are entitled to or are facing uncertain situations, such as unplanned pregnancy and don’t know where to start, you can consult an expert anonymously.
