One line
- Means hCG hormone not detected yet
- Could be due to testing too early
- Or might not be pregnant at all
Very faint second line
- Possibility of being pregnant, but hormone levels are still low
- Usually occurs in the early stages of pregnancy (less than 2 weeks)
- May need to retest in 2–3 days to confirm the result

- Test in the morning, first urine after waking up, for the most accurate result
