To continue a quality pregnancy and ensure a safe delivery, resulting in a healthy baby, antenatal care is very important for pregnant women and the unborn child. Doctors will check physical health, administer vaccines, provide supplements, monitor the progress of the pregnancy, and discuss any symptoms that occur during pregnancy to prevent complications. This antenatal care will support women until delivery. Documents to prepare when attending antenatal care include an ID card and a hospital service card obtained from the first service visit.
It is important to attend appointments as scheduled to check the progress and any abnormalities of the pregnancy, following the advice of doctors and nurses to prepare for a safe delivery.
You can use the right to antenatal care and delivery at hospitals registered with the health insurance or social security system. Every time you receive services, bring your ID card to verify your healthcare rights.
**In case you do not wish to receive antenatal care or deliver at a nearby service facility for any reason, services should be divided into antenatal care and delivery according to your rights as follows:**

* Transferring rights requires knowing which hospital your rights are at, both the main and secondary hospitals (you can inquire at the NHSO hotline 1330 and request to transfer services at the hospital where you receive antenatal care. Required documents are 1) ID card and 2) proof of residence in the area, such as a current water bill or electricity bill. You can transfer service rights throughout the year.
**This rate has been in effect since January 1, 2011, to the present. However, some hospitals may not be able to follow this guideline due to an excessive number of antenatal care and delivery cases beyond the hospital’s capacity, so it is advisable to inquire before receiving services each time.
