Termination of pregnancy in Thailand can be done safely and is not illegal
Gestational age at which pregnancy can be terminated
- Gestational age not exceeding 12 weeks can be terminated without specifying a reason
- Gestational age 12–20 weeks receive comprehensive counseling and must be a voluntary decision of the pregnant person
- Can be terminated at any gestational age if the pregnancy affects the physical or mental health of the pregnant person, the fetus is severely deformed, the pregnant person is under 15 years old, or the pregnancy is a result of abuse without needing a police report
