A pregnancy test is a preliminary tool that helps you know if you are pregnant or not, but many people encounter “one line, but very faint” or “not clear” and wonder if they are pregnant. Let’s find out the answer.
1. One line = No pregnancy detected (at that time)
If there is only one line at the control line (C) and no line at the test position (T), it usually means ‘no pregnancy hormone detected’ or not pregnant.
But if the “one faint line” you see is at the T position (test line), it may mean that HCG hormone is starting to appear → might be very early pregnancy
2. If unsure, retest or consult a doctor
- Test again in 2-3 days
- Use a test kit from a different brand for comparison
- Or see a doctor for a blood test and ultrasound
Knowing the result clearly will help you make confident and safe decisions.
