The main point is for each type of educational institution, namely primary education, secondary education, vocational education (Vocational Certificate, High Vocational Certificate, Bachelor’s degree in technology or practical fields), and higher education to implement prevention and solutions to teenage pregnancy by providing sex education and life skills teaching appropriate to the age of students. The content and learning process should cover sexual development at each age, relationships with others, personal skill development, sexual behavior, sexual health, and social and cultural dimensions affecting sexuality, including the right to access information and knowledge about reproductive health that emphasizes gender diversity and equality. There should also be systematic monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of teaching and learning, making it part of the educational assessment.

Furthermore, educational institutions should recruit and develop teachers to have the knowledge, good attitudes, and appropriate teaching skills, as well as understand the learning psychology of students at each level in line with the educational management of the institution. This is to enable them to teach sex education, life skills, and provide counseling on preventing and solving teenage pregnancy issues to students. If there are not enough teachers and counselors, the institution should coordinate with relevant government or private agencies or individuals with expertise in teaching sex education, life skills, and counseling to seek support or act as teachers and counselors appropriately and sufficiently.

In addition, higher education institutions should develop teaching and learning for students in the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Education, or other related faculties or fields to have the knowledge and ability to teach sex education, life skills, and provide counseling on preventing and solving teenage pregnancy issues.

For all educational institutions with pregnant students, they must not expel those students unless it is a transfer to another institution. They should provide a system of care, assistance, and protection for pregnant students to receive education in an appropriate and continuous manner.
